Court

Detention Diary

The start was similar to yesterday. After arriving at the district public prosecutor’s office, it was time for the long bench punishment. After a while, I was called and moved to the court. I waited for my turn sitting on a blue chair, which was better than the wooden benches. After a bit, I was able to meet with Lawyer Ueno. After sharing the latest information with him, I was advised to remain silent. It seems better to assume that the investigative authorities have a malicious intent. Since there was a 20-minute limit, the meeting ended quickly, and I waited another four hours for my turn. The judge, who didn’t seem to listen, asked 2-3 questions, and after 15 minutes, my detention and visitation ban were decided. The investigation progresses with hostage tactics and torture after arrest.

When I returned to the detention center, the officer in charge said, “Welcome back.” It warmed my heart.
