I was called in for interrogation at 9:40 and chose to remain silent. It started with silence. They plan to continue the interrogation both in the morning and afternoon as proof of their work. It seems like a battle of endurance between us.
Today is apparently referred to as Sports Day, not Physical Education Day. It’s rainy from the morning, and many sports events nationwide are likely postponed. After lunch, the afternoon interrogation started at 13:40. It’s clear they want to track the flow of funds. At the end of the interrogation, they hinted that they might want to discuss the whole picture of the case and my innocence. The situation is starting to feel more like a negotiation.

今はスポーツの日と呼ばれる日らしい。体育の日ではないようだ。朝から雨模様だが、運動会は全国的に延期も多いだろう。昼食をはさんで午後[の取調べ]は13:40スタート。資金の流れを追いたい様子が分かった。取調べの最後に、事件の全容と身の潔白を話したいのではないかと言われた。だんだん掛引き[駆け引き]じみた感じになってきた様相である。
明日は何と言ってくるか・・・。
