On October 2, 2023, I had continued to remain silent, but the following day, I partially broke my silence. I want to address this matter.
The previous day, I had been subjected to unconvincing arguments from someone with a different perspective (a detective) who said that remaining silent lacked sincerity and did not fulfill social or organizational duties. However, the next day, the questions started vaguely.
“How many online casino and game merchants are there?”
I answered that there are countless.
“Which companies used which accounts and around when?”
I responded with some merchants and accounts associated with the agencies. The detective’s desperate attempt to get statements for the record seemed pitiful, so I obliged. Another significant reason was that there was already some traction in the interrogation; it became clear that the police were attempting to build another case.
The detective, eager to finalize the record, frantically typed my statements into the PC, adding numerous paragraphs and brackets. He seemed like a salaryman from a top-down organization, and it was pitiable.
Then, a more tragic event occurred. The person in charge of the detention at Shinjuku Police Station barged into the interrogation room, apparently having exceeded the interrogation time by 15 minutes. Was it a cultural norm in Aichi Prefecture for interrogation times to be extended without notifying the detainee? What was going on? The faces of these two detectives turned pale, and they mumbled excuses about local rules in Aichi.

久々に黙秘を破った件
2023/10/2は黙秘を続けていたのが、翌日は黙秘を一部破っている。その事について言及したいと思う。
前日は、黙秘することは誠実さを欠くし、社会的義務や組織の長としての義務を果たすことにはならないという、立場も見識も違う者（刑事）からピンとこない説得をされていたが、その日は漠然とした質問から入ってきた。
「オンラインカジノ・ゲームのマーチャントはいくつあるのか？」
この質問には、山ほどあると答えた。
「どの会社がどの口座でいつごろ利用されたか」
これにも、代理店とその代理店の口座に対応したマーチャントの一部を答えておいた。あまりにも調書にしたくてたまらない顔が哀れだったので、応じてあげた。そしてもう一つ大きな理由があった。それはこちらにも取調べの中で釣果があったのだ。警察がもう一つ立件しようとしていると分かった。
久々の調書に浮き足立ち、僕の供述に背鰭尾鰭をつけてたくさんの改行と括弧を含めながらPCに必死で打ち込むF刑事。トップダウンの組織に属するサラリーマンの影が見える。哀れだ。
そしてさらに悲哀漂う事件が勃発する。新宿署留置の責任者が取調べ室に怒鳴り込んできたからだ。取調べ時間を15分もオーバーしていると聞こえた。愛知県警では取調べ時間が延長するのに留置人に申告もしない文化でもあるのか？一体どうなっているのだ？という感じだった。この２人の刑事の顔面蒼白ぶりと言ったら酷かった。そして、口をとんがらせて、愛知でのローカルルールだと云々という言い訳をブツブツ言っていた。
