Sundays are really empty. There’s absolutely nothing to do. I was so bored that I didn’t know what to do, but I ended up playing games with the guys in the cell and getting into silly conversations. I can’t say the day flew by, but before I knew it, night had fallen. [Friend] sent me Geinin Shunju as a gift, and it’s interesting enough that I think I can get by with this book for a while.
The trial date still hasn’t been set…

日曜は何もない。本当にない。ヒマすぎてどうしようかと思っていたが、房内の連中とゲームをしたりくだらない話で盛り上がることができた。あっという間にとは言えないが、気がつくと夜になっていた。多分[友人]の差し入れの藝人春秋が面白く、しばらくこの本で過ごしていけそうだ。
公判日はまだ決まらない・・・。
