If I had to write the name of the country “Brazil” in kanji, nothing comes to mind, nor do I have any way to look it up.
I think “汁” (soup/broth) might be fitting.
Now, let me recount what happened early this morning. Around 5 AM, I was awakened by a roaring sound, like the noise of a construction site. Someone was sleeping to my left, and I figured one of my cellmates had rolled over into my space due to their bad sleeping posture. I pulled the blanket over my head, trying to fall back asleep, but it was too noisy. I finally took a good look at the person’s face and realized it was someone I didn’t know.
At breakfast, I learned he was a new Brazilian inmate. He claims to be a famous influencer. He quickly got into a fight with one of the younger cellmates and was immediately moved to solitary confinement. Apparently, he was arrested for shoplifting.
Today’s lunch music? Yumi Matsutoya, Sheena & The Rokkets, YMO, and the like. Nice.
