Sending to the district public prosecutor’s office

Detention Diary

Another day of new experiences from the morning. First, after finishing breakfast and taking a short rest, my number was called. A body search, handcuffs, and then a single blue rope threaded through the handcuffs (holes) to link ten people together. After marching and being put into the transport vehicle, another body search. Having metal allergies, being handcuffed directly is really unbearable. Arrived at the district public prosecutor’s office. Another march. We sat five at a time on hard wooden benches facing each other, which was incredibly painful. For someone with Crohn’s disease like me, this was pure torture. We had to sit still for hours without being allowed to do anything. To control my bowel movements, I skipped lunch and held on. The prosecutor’s interrogation was sharp, as if he knew everything.

I felt relieved when I returned to my cell. It felt like home.

I had a meeting with Dr. Nagano and then went to sleep.
